Shell commissions interactive displays for its Eco Marathon initiative.
Shell instigated the Eco Marathon initiative to encourage new transportation designs from the public based on “how far you can go on a litre of fuel.”
The multinational asked us to design a series of interactive displays to support the initiative, which also featured a travelling exhibition to Rotterdam, Manila and London. It focused on helping people understand how energy gets generated.
Our brief was to demonstrate the different forms of power generation – solar, wind, hydro, nuclear, wave, oil, ethanol and gas.
We took the concepts for each installation and created a range of energy-themed displays that included demonstrations, games and other interactive content, using our experienced team of craftspeople and engineers to bring the concepts to fruition.
