Ned Hotel

The Ned Hotel opened its doors in 2017 following an extensive refit to each of its nine floors.

The inspiration behind the James Bond movie, Goldfinger, was this grade II listed building of the old Midland Bank headquarters now the scene of a luxury hotel boasting 252 room, a gym, rooftop pool originally designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens. As part of the refit it retained its original high vaulted ceilings, marbled pillars and the grand entrance doors.

Enter Frozen Fish Design who fabricated a frame system to house the lobby speakers. Using high end finishes they encased them in tiles designed to blend with the luxury green marble finish thus stay in keeping with the transatlantic 1930’s cruise liners and orient express design style.
